brothers running a TV and film production company.
STUNTGUY
Someone came to me with this idea for a very short
cartoon series. I wrote these two
episodes and never heard anything more about it. So I’m going to put them up here.
FROM ACROSS THE
From Across the Gulf of Space was a radio pilot we made with BBC, a spoof
of the Orson Welles’ broadcast of War of the Worlds. There were some problems with the recording and I doubt I can get
the rights to put it up on this website so instead I’ll show you the scripts. It also gives me the opportunity to show the
alternate endings that we came up with.
Ultimately the show got turned down although we never entirely sure
why. This pilot would have been episode
3 if it had gone ahead. It was written
by Mark Cantan and Nicky Murphy with some jokes thieved from Davy Banks, Shane
Casey, Thomas Forshaw and Dan Stewart.
